Michelle joined Progeny Asset Management as a founding director in 2016, where she had previously worked for Redmayne-Bentley LLP for 20 years, managing portfolios for a wide variety of clients including individual private clients, family wealth, pensions, trusts and charities on a bespoke basis. Michelle is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investment.
She has been integral in shaping Progeny Asset Management to ensure robust systems and controls are at the heart of the business; implementing leading technology for the Investment Managers to run portfolios and to give clients direct access to their account information. Michelle has a particular interest in ethical investments and has constructed purely ethical portfolio’s for large charities and also helped fulfil other client’s desire for some ethical bias to be added to their portfolios.
Outside of work, sport is the main focus in Michelle’s family as a result of being married to Scott who is from New Zealand. Most of her spare time is spent watching her two boys and husband playing sport or being dragged into the garden for a game of rugby or cricket herself.
